Letter from the Dean
The College of Nursing at Michigan State University will be celebrating our 60th Anniversary over the next year. Join me in recognizing the great influence of all the leaders that have brought us to this place where we commemorate 60 years with "A Heritage of Distinction.”
Distinction guides the strategic imperatives that define our past, present and future. In the years ahead, we will strategically increase our investment in nursing research that is translated into practice. And, further collaborate with key healthcare professionals and valued alumni to advance graduate education while maintaining our strong commitment to undergraduate education.
Our Heritage of Distinction is interwoven in all facets of the College. Numerous milestones will continue to further the legacy of nursing at Michigan State University including the construction of THE BOTT BUILDING for Nursing Education and Research. I am deeply grateful to all who contributed to making the new building a reality and to all that contribute to the vibrant experience that defines the College of Nursing at Michigan State University.
Sincerely,

Mary H. Mundt, PhD, RN
