Renew Class Spirit. Reflect upon Personal Experiences. Reconnect with Classmates.
Reunions are milestones—occasions for alumni to renew class spirit, reflect on past experiences and reconnect with classmates. Alumni with graduation years ending in five or zero are among the 11 classes celebrating milestone reunions this year. The college's reunion activities are meant to serve as reminders of the memorable times shared at university while providing opportunities for alumni to stay connected to the future of nursing excellence at Michigan State University.

October 16 Homecoming Tailgate and Game Celebration

Tailgate at Homecoming 2010
As part of the reunion celebration, each class has the opportunity to join fellow alumni in honoring their reunion by supporting the future of the College of Nursing. The College has embarked on a fundraising initiative that will establish a new nursing Life Sciences Building Addition, the first campaign of its kind for nursing education at Michigan State University. This addition will provide greater access to new modes of learning, explore research techniques, and expand professional continuing education opportunities for nurses.
To commemorate your milestone reunion year, celebrate with fellow classmates by organizing a class gift for the 60 for SIXTY Challenge. For every gift that totals $10,000, the College will match the contribution. In doing so, a modular Pod will be named for your class and hold a special place in the Nursing Addition to Life Sciences.
COME BACK TO HOMECOMING 2010
The 2010 Annual Homecoming Tailgate is a chance for each reunion class and all alumni to renew friendships, enjoy Spartan football, and find a way to give back to the university where it all began. So many important achievements in life – both professional and personal – can be traced back to the education gained at Michigan State University. From the lasting relationships built with friends to the satisfying intellectual challenges at the College of Nursing, education can lead to excellence in a variety of situations. With alumni support, the College of Nursing and Michigan State University can continue to provide the quality educational experience that changes students' lives in profound ways.
