Greetings Spartan Nursing Alumni and Friends,
This is a very exciting time for the College of Nursing and we are thrilled that you are part of it. The Construction of THE BOTT BUILDING for Nursing Education and Research marks an exciting new phase for the College of Nursing. It will expand the educational and research capabilities of the College, while advancing nursing at Michigan State University.
The Alumni board is proud to have assisted the College in accomplishing this important milestone by supporting a research pod in the new building. The board is also extremely grateful to the other alumni and friends of the College who participated in the 60 for SIXTY Challenge by supporting research pods.
The 60th Anniversary Year of the College of Nursing is a time to honor the College’s "Heritage of Distinction” and to look towards the exciting things in its future. Mark your calendar and join fellow alumni at one or all of the following Activities:
August 21 - Colorado Alumni Luncheon followed by visit to the 20th Golden Fine Arts Festival September 24 – Groundbreaking on the THE BOTT BUILDING for Education and Research
October 16 – Annual College of Nursing Homecoming Tailgate followed by the Spartans taking on the fighting Illini
November 9 –Heritage of Distinction Lecture Series: Nursing Research and Clinical Translation presented by Pamela Mitchell, PhD, CNRN, FAAN
