Kelly Brittain, PhD, RN,
has been featured in the Oncology Nursing Forum (ONF) podcast series for
January 2012. The podcast discusses the various factors that lead to
decisions related to colorectal cancer screening. Within the podcast Brittain discusses her
January 2012 ONF article "Sociocultural Differences and Colorectal Cancer Screening Among
African American Men and Women”. The article, expands on previous research that investigates the relationship between cultural identity;
family support and influence; colorectal cancer beliefs; and informed decision
making among African Americans.
